Janet Walker
#17

I have always been an artist and admire creativity in others.

Janet has designed many Sterling Silver cast Northwest Coast style jewelry pieces and has designed many other custom pieces.

I studied Interior Design and Commercial Art in College but I left school to work as a Graphic Illustrator. I then married an aspiring Artist and Goldsmith, Owen Walker and thirty five years ago we created our studio and business ‘Walker Goldsmiths’. With my husband Owen’s Goldsmithing, Engraving and other artistic talents, and my artistic talents we created our own jewelry line in Sterling Silver. Many of our jewelry designs are in Northwest Coast Indian Style and so depict characters from ancient stories of some of the Northwest Tribes. Owen is the master engraver and I am the designer and carver for our cast Sterling Silver jewelry art.

I have collected Trade-beads for many years and have created many unique lovely Antique Trade Bead Necklace Earring sets.  Now this has become another facet of our custom jewelry business.

Having custom jewelry made for you may be easier than you think. As a professional jewelry designer I have helped many of our customers turn their imagination into design, then into cast Sterling Silver treasures. Enhance the spirit of any joyful occasion with custom designed jewelry. Memories are forever.
