Stylized Bronze Bears cast by Adam Mills
Here are the final stylized Bronze Bears with a Marbled Patina cast by Adam Mills.
The bears have the shape and lines to create a visual experience that enhances the imagined playfulness of the polar bear. After the patina was applied to the bronze, Adam mounted the bears on white marble bases that he chiseled to look like ice. The bears were permanently mounted on the marble and a felt pad applied to the bottom of the marble for a non-scratch surface. “Polar bears and their unique antics are fun to sculpt & enjoy in bronze”, says Adam Mills.
Limited edition of 300 each the standing bear is 7 inches tall, 10 inches x 5 inches wide with a white marble base and the reclining bear is 5 inches tall, 9 inches x 6 inches wide and also has a white marble base.

So cool! I love the playfulness of these bears. You have really captured their essence.
Adam’s sold 7 of his Bronze Bears this summer on board the National Geographic Explorer that is operated by Lindblad Maritime Expeditions. The Explorer traveled to Franz Joseph’s Land and up into the Arctic and now it is on it’s way to the Galapagos Islands.
Two of his bronzes went to China with a passenger! I’m finding it all very exciting!
