Moon Photo 18-01-2011
Taking photos of the moon are not that easy but if it is bright a faster ISO can make up for the movement across the sky. Last night was pretty clear so there was minimum atmospheric distortion. I love my little SX20is Canon, I could not have got a clear shot at this magnification (20x) without the image stabilization. Pam, thanks for calling and telling me to go outside and look up.

Amazing shot!!! You know, I learned something about taking photos of the moon that I thought was cool a while back. If you like to adjust your white balance to specific lighting situations, use your daylight/sun setting. On my camera this works better than the auto setting. Yours looks great though. I’m not telling you that because it doesn’t look good. It’s just a tidbit I picked up and thought was cool.
