Clay Otter sculpture to be cast in Bronze
Adam Mills is creating more bronze works of art at Walker Bronze. Here is a photo of him working on his sculpture of an otter. The clay sculpture will be molded in rubber then wax will be poured into the mold to create a replica. From there the wax will be covered in a ceramic shell, wax burned out and bronze poured in!
The Otter is a playful animal with unique character and this sculpture brings that to life.

I love this little guy. He’s really is a character! Owen and I watched Otters up close at a park near Tacoma and they were such little darlings. I’ve seen them in the wild often, but that up close experience, where they were used to people watching them, made them not so shy and we were able to see they each had their own individual character. Lots of fun! Adam’s got it!
Man! That Adam is a great sculptor!!!
Yes! He’s amazing us every day! Bet your boys would love to see the process! We’re waiting on marble bases being finished to mount the Polar Bears. They’re white marble and will look like Ice! Very cool! …well, cold actually:)!
