Getting a decent photo of a bird that is above you and “backlit” is pretty hard and I try to catch them when they turn. I was trying to get a decent photo of a Bald Eagle overhead when I heard a helicopter coming over the trees near the observation deck by the Beach Store Cafe so I took the photo. I really expected the red Coastguard chopper you see once in a while around the islands but turned out to be one of those “Black Helicopters”. Well, here’s a good look at one, you can barely read the decal on the side door.

I did not expect this post to hold a picture of a helicopter. I was thinking raven or something like that. That’s fun! I wonder what the Homeland Security guys were up to that day!!!
There was an eagle up there that did not work out, but along came H.S. in their Blackhawk chopper. Seemed like a good title.
