365 Project – Day 42 through 46

Another week has flown by and I am still managing to keep my daily photos coming, just not uploaded to the site as frequently.  I would say that I will try harder but I don’t want to lie to you.

So here goes…

Day 42 is a little still life of conversation hearts.  I had visions of grandeur that I would play with this photo in PhotoShop and make it look really cool, but that didn’t happen.  Maybe in the future.  Maybe…

This was taken with a Nikon D90.  60mm focal length, f/3.5 with a shutter speed of 1/25, ISO 320.  Natural light.

Day 43 is a quite little moment between my baby and her daddy.  Baby faces are so fun to squish.  Who can resist those cute little malleable cheeks?  I sure can’t.  Neither can my husband.

This was taken with a Nikon D90.  60mm focal length, f/7.1 with a shutter speed of 1/30, ISO 800.  Natural light.

Day 44 is another one of many shots of my baby.  We had spaghetti for dinner and she got her own little plate full of spaghetti with just a tiny bit of butter for flavor.  How do I know the Italian genes run strong in my children?  Because they eat this kind of thing with full gusto!  It was her first time eating it and she was grabbing handfuls and shoving them into her mouth like it was the last thing she would ever get to eat.  Adorable!!!

This was taken with a Nikon D90.  60mm focal length, f/3.2 with a shutter speed of 1/160, ISO 250.  Natural light.

Day 45 is a shot of what my view was most of the day.  My son goes to a charter school where parents are asked to volunteer hours.  I can’t go into the school to satisfy my volunteer time because I have all these other babies to take care of so when a request was sent out for someone to take over the duties of the school newsletter I jumped at the chance.  I get to satisfy my volunteer time, learn what is going on in the school and learn a new program (Adobe InDesign).  I am really enjoying this job.  It’s my kind of thing!

Day 46 was the result of grabbing my camera when my son put on my sunglasses.  He was saying, “I’m Mommy!” then striking a mommy like pose, such as this.  I guess that’s what I look like; you can’t argue with a 3 year old’s impression of his mommy!

This was taken with a Nikon D90.  60mm focal length, f/5 with a shutter speed of 1/50, ISO 3200.  Natural light.

  1. some great shots Jessica! My favorite is “Spaghetti Face”, although Mag being Mommy is a close second, he got the all knowing Mommy smile down really well!
