Adam Mills
My name is Adam Mills. As a young child I would spend time with my grandmother, who loved to paint. I began to mimic her actions and eventually I developed a life long love of art. I was introduced to Northwest Coast Style art by my wife’s parents, Owen And Janet Walker. I was mesmerized by the majestic nature of the art and culture of the Pacific Northwest coast Indian community. It began to speak to my soul. It was as if my eyes where allowing me to see ancient history and stories handed down from generations past. In a way, I feel that Northwest Coast Indian Art has rekindled my love of creating and has taken my artistic energy in a new direction. Please browse my work and see if it speaks to you as it does to me.
Please contact me with questions or comments about my work. I would love to hear from you.

Looks pretty ugly when it is first cast! Sometimes I find it hard to believe that something so rough and discolored can turn out so beautiful! so stay tuned and we will post more pictures of this fascination process as they come in! I mean it doesn’t even look like bronze it looks like cast iron or stone or something
It is really coming along!! Every time I see that big bear panel and it is a little farther a long, it seems to come alive more and more.
Very excited to see it complete.
The progress of these pieces is amazing. Seams like not long ago they were just hopeful endeavors, and now to see them come to life… Its really great! You are a beautiful, talented man!
Adam…I saw your panels and the bears at your in-laws & they are GORGEOUS! Love the different finishes on the panels…makes each one have a totally ddifferent feel. So happy to see your hard work come to fruition! Congrats!
I’m very interested in the process of creating a bronze. I’m a Tlingit artist living in Bellingham. It looks like you guys are doing a great job. I would like to talk with you guys and see what other kinds of projects you could do.
Thanks for the comments. We can talk about bronze casting after the February gift show. This is a very busy time for us. Mid February would be best. Do you have any artwork posted on the net to view?
